100 Days Of Floating

As I slip into my usual deep slumber within the void, I can’t help but smile and feel a great sense of joy for what lies ahead. The feeling of tranquility surrounds me as I drift off into the uncharted waters within my mind. Thoughts begin to slow, tension starts to go and my true essence is finally allowed to show. And so it begins…

As some of you know already, Caleb Jackson and myself have embarked on a journey to float 100 days in a row. As I personally approach day 30, I feel like floating has now become an everyday routine exercise. Initially I felt a lot of turmoil and even guilt for taking so much time for myself. However once I floated through this feeling, I finally realized that this is exactly the reason why we hesitate to do more for ourselves. Its almost as if we feel unproductive or like were missing out on something important. When in reality the greatest productivity is made in stillness. In simply letting go of everything, we are finally able to move from moment to moment with absolute flow and precision. Were able to be where we need to be and do what we need to do without the constant nagging of the mind. A new form of energy ignites our very existence and there we are able to stand in complete peace, unity, and total vulnerability. So open to what life has to offer and so free to just be.

If we all knew a place of peace and tranquility existed within us all, would any of us ever hesitate to go there? And would we ever choose to stray from that place? Floaters are truly remarkable people and perhaps this place of calming tranquility is what we are genuinely here to offer.

Here’s to many more floats!
